Why Spartanburg concrete cracks
Hairline cracking is normal as concrete cures, but wider or widening cracks, sunken slab sections, and lips at the joints are usually signs that the clay soil underneath has shifted more than the slab could handle. We inspect first to figure out whether the crack is cosmetic, or a sign of a deeper base problem that resurfacing alone won't fix.
If the underlying base is sound, we can often stabilize and resurface without a full tear-out. If the base has failed, we'll tell you honestly rather than patch over a problem that's going to come back.
- Crack routing, stabilization, and resurfacing of driveways and walkways
- Polymer-modified overlays for worn patios and entries
- Surface grinding, patching, and sealing for stained or spalled slabs
- Full replacement when the base itself has failed
